PABADIS PROMISE

MCM boasts numerous participations in many important research projects promoted by the European Commission in technologic and strategic innovation area.

The final meeting for PABADIS PROMISE project has been held at MCM premises on 23 and 24 October, 2008. The project has developed an agents system for the management and the control of the production plants.
Thanks to the achieved results and to their real demonstration on a real MCM system, the reviewers have suggested to promote the project as DG INFSO "PROJECT OF THE MONTH".

Title: Pabadis'Promise PABADIS based Product Oriented Manufacturing Systems 
for Re-Configurable Enterprises (FP6-IST-016649)

Goal: Development of a new control architecture based on distributed intelligence, a new manufacturing ontology, a first embedded Real-Time agent platform for control, a new generation of RFID's, a new generation of field control devices, and building blocks for a new generation of Enterprise Resource Planning systems.

Duration: 1 August, 2005 - 31 October, 2008
